Welcome to Atlantic County Canines (ACC), a 501(c)(3), non-profit rescue organization dedicated to serving dogs and cats in Southern NJ. Our team of volunteers work tirelessly to rescue the most at-risk animals from area shelters, provide them with rehabilitation and find them loving, permanent homes. We specialize in senior and medical needs animals who are often surrendered due to age or medical costs.
We are dedicated to pulling dogs and cats from local shelters. In these uncertain economic times, many animals are surrendered due to their owners' inability to afford food or veterinary care. We believe every animal deserves a chance at a better life, and we are committed providing the support they need.
Join us in our mission to give these animals a second chance at life.
Before and After
A local shelter reached out to help Tate. How could we say no? Poor Tate had endured years of neglect. His matted hair from years of no grooming made it hard for him to walk. After a kind shelter employee shaved him, it was shocking to see how thin he is. A vet visit revealed he weighs only 11.9 pounds! Tate lives at the Old Geezer Farm.
